Electronic control units

Checkweighers are equipped with electronic control unit built and programmed by Packital.
They are not stop programmed, but they are customized in accordance with customer’s needs and request.

Packital control units have multilanguage interface and they can also manage all the connected units, like belt conveyors or roller conveyors .


Unit 846


The electronic unit type 846 elaborates analog signals from load cells, at the rate of 200 cycles per second. The signal, converted into a weight value, is shown on the display in real time and stored for the supply of data with statistic and legal metric value.
The user interface is combination of keyboard and alphanumeric display; the program is accessed through a simple main "menu" with sub-pages relating to the various functions available; the extremely compact dimensions of the unit allows very small size space and easy interchangeability.

BASIC FEATURES:

  • backlight display with 32 alphanumeric characters; multilingual program; customizable alphanumeric password to exclude access to the program to unauthorized people;
  • 100 pages of registry for the storage of parameters relating to as many products, including reject and calibration thresholds, for "format change" in 10 seconds;
  • 5 weight classes for the "acceptable" underweight and overweight management;
  • manual "spotcheck" printing without alteration of current data;
  • automatic printing programmable at expirations or time intervals or at number of pieces;
  • simultaneous management of batch statistical data and sample;
  • outputs for activation of multiple ejectors, each which can be combined with a weight class;
  • error, weight display absolute or net weight if the constant tare value is stored;
  • sequential display of all the setting parameters and of all calculated data in real time, of the weight or error value to current average;
  • "Monitor" function for the analysis of the weighing diagram / cycle.

OPTIONS:

  • "feed-back" or "feed-forward" correction functions for filling or dosing devices;
  • classification on an extended number of weight classes;
  • "master" computer management or centralized printing of data from multiple checkweighers;

Unit 908


The electronic unit type 908, specifically designed to control any Packital checkweigher, processes the analog signal supplied by the load cells at the rate of 1000 cycles per second; subsequently transformed into a weight value then shown on the display in real time and stored for the supply of data with legal statistical and metric values.
The user interface has been designed to be simple and intuitive, therefore comprehensible even to untrained personnel; moreover the compactness of the unit allows reduced dimensions and easy interchangeability.

Unit 953 Millenium


The electronic unit type 953 "Millennium" is built with high quality components. The high technological level allows the equipment to process the analog signal, supplied by the load cells, at the rate of 1000 cycles per second; subsequently, transformed into a weight value then shown in real time on the display and stored for the supply of data with legal statistical and metric values.
